"It was the disaster and the owner couldn’t care less"

Cleanliness inside the villa Comfy beds

Swimming pool was filthy and we couldn’t utilise it. Luckily there is a jacuzzi There was no electricity for our entire stay. We informed the owner and she sent someone that confirmed that the power is off cannot be fixed and we should put the candles on for the night, Eskom will come the following day. We made salads and rice just before we left Cape Town thinking they might not have potsthat are big enough to cater for us. When we got there the fridge was off due to no power supply and all our food was off the following day and the owner only brought the generator on Saturday. Our ice melted we bought everything as she advised us that there were no shops nearby and ice melted, food went off. All she could say was that it is not her fault that there is no electricity it’s Eskom’s fault. The entire weekend was just a wasteful expenditure on our part and gain for her. We had to drive to Caledon to buy food we had and vinigar to wash our meat. We had not water since we got there on Friday until the owner came Saturday afternoon. We couldn’t take shower or make use of the ablutions. We did not buy water because we were advised that the water is drinkable. When the water issue was finally sorted Saturday afternoon the water was brown. There entire trip was just waste of our money and we wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone. It was just a mess. The bad outweighs the good.

It was so nice and quiet. The hot tub was an amazing addition to the house which was exquisite from both inside and outside.

No complaints.

I absolutely loved this house! It was well equipped. We were Impressed that Kitchen had a big variety of utensils. The Dishwasher was a winner in Kitchen. We loved that all beds had electric blankets & bedding modern & comfortable. We were able to watch rugby too. The Hot Tub was Great. Real Farmstay with a modern Twist here and then. Loved it!

Wouldn’t change anything about this property. If you looking for farmstay vibe with some of your favourite things from home this is it
