The Marshall House

Beautiful, historic home that underwent thoughtful restoration. Will, the host, was warm and helpful. He’s also a chef and made a delicious breakfast. The house is on a pretty residential street and is convenient for getting to the falls.

No negatives.

Interesting historic property, feels like staying in the museum. Will, the inn keeper was super nice and made us gourmet delicious breakfast! Quiet, comfortable room. Very cute guest cat outside. Good location next to Niagara Falls and rainbow bridge.

The area looks a little rough in some places.

Very nice and cozy house with history and stories. Will's breakfast is also the highlight of our stay. He even prepared gifts when we left. How sweet! Met other guests in the dining room and they were all great people.

The only thing that my mom felt a bit inconvenient was the bathroom. There was limited room in there and we had to be very careful when we moved around in the bathroom.

The bed was super comfy, the breakfast was amazing. Had a balcony where we sat in the evening. My only downfall was the size of the bathroom. Kinda small, but effective. I'll stay there again for sure

The historic Marshall House is lovely. The owners are great hosts, exceptionally responsive to questions and requests, and just plain good folks. Breakfast’s prepared by Chef Will were absolutely delicious. We loved the location as it made it very easy for us to walk to the Falls and get on the bike paths.

It appeared to be a historical B and B which it probably was.

Our room was filthy I could write in the dust on surfaces. The bathroom was extremely small so mall my husband could not use the shower. We couldn’t even turn around in it. The toilet was almost to the floor never seen one that short! Hope to never again see one that short. The bed creaked horribly whenever anyone moved so not much sleep was had. The innkeeper that met with us was very nice but had only walked around the neighborhood he said once or twice however he recommended walking to the downtown area for restaurant choices which we did. This isn’t a nice neighborhood for walking and felt unsafe. We received a text after checking stating the other guests were wanting breakfast the following morning at 10 am. While they offered to fix us something earlier, if we wanted we decided we just wanted to get out of there. My husband couldn’t sleep worrying his truck would either be gone or up on cement blocks with no tires. We were outta there by 9 and never looked back!

The house was beautifully decorated and loved all the antiques. The room was cozy with a private bathroom. The staff were very accommodating and the chef was awesome! He was willing to cook our breakfast earlier than it is normally served to accommodate our schedule for departure. The location is perfect for visiting Niagara State Park.

No issues with the property at all. Our GPS brought us through a rougher-looking neighborhood so we were concerned, but the surrounding area of this house is nice and friendly.
