Private Inn Bambee

The owner was a lovely older man who was extremely friendly and helpful. Nice apartment with fully stocked kitchen and washing machine. Supplied everything we could want Had a/c which we didn't need to use since we could open windows and had a fan. Comfortable beds. I loved being in a quiet non-touristy neighborhood. Only a 10 minute walk to subway and 5 to bakery, grocery, etc.

Property was in a quiet neighbourhood, very private, and local.

The owner, though friendly, was a little too intrusive for our liking. He does not allow the guests to have a key so all entry/exit of the premises is through him (we’d have to call him everytime) so it was very inconvenient. We would also have to let him know when we were coming home and stick to that timing. There was also a curfew from 24:00-08:00 (presumably his sleeping time) On top of that, he stays on the property and we are given the second floor. The door of the second floor does not have a lock which means he can enter as and when he pleases (not sure if this is a cultural thing but we disliked that fact, especially more since we could not enter the premises without his permission) He actually did enter on the first night and told us that he turned on the ventilation on our behalf because the room was warm (which we weren’t too comfortable with) Extremely inconvenient for the price paid. Our other Airbnbs had full privacy and more space.

Not just accommodating, makes me feel like I'm an actual resident in the area. It is so blended in the atmosphere when I was hanging out my washing out on the balcony. Loved the feeling very much.

Couldn't stay longer because I have to carry on my journey.

Friendly host, good location, comfortable space

It was ok for us as we had fairly set schedule but if you were more flexible with plans needing to be let out and back into the accommodation by the host could be tricky.

The host was wonderful, so helpful and welcoming. I felt right at home and well looked after. Good location for heading to Mosaic area
