Je ne peux que vous recommander de réviser ici. Suranda est une personne exceptionnelle, j’ai passé beaucoup de temps à discuter avec lui. Quel bonheur ! Il va tout faire pour que vous passiez un excellent séjour, aussi bien pour vous donner des informations sur la vie locale que pour avoir un Tuktuk ou une jeep. Il peut aussi vous faire le petit déjeuner et le dîner en échange d’un petit supplément. Il me demandait toujours si tout se passait bien à l’endroit où j’étais et pareil quand la nuit commençait à tomber pour être sûr que j’allais bien. Je ne l’oublierai jamais. Que dieu te garde mon ami.

Our stay here was a wonderful experience. Sunanda was an excellent host, and his father was also a lovely person. We were given a tour of his herb garden. Sunanda is a herbal expert and was passionate about his work, and he connected with us. I highly recommend coming here. Thank you for the wonderful stay with you and your father.

Un accueil chaleureux et plein d’attentions, un séjour riche de moments partagés et de merveilleuses plantes. Aussi grâce à lui nous avons pu avoir des contacts afin de réaliser notre projet documentaire, il nous a été d’une aide précieuse. Ps: Son père fait le meilleur chicken curry de la région ! Die absolute Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber. Wunderschön gelegen im Ayurvedischen Garten. Ein wunderbarer Ort um sich zu erholen und abzuschalten. Wir haben mit den Gastgebern Curry gekocht und wurden wie Familie behandelt, eine absolute Empfehlung.

Der beste Service! Ich habe immer sehr leckeren Tee bekommen. Der Gastgeber ist der freundlichste, der mir bisher in Sri Lanka begegnet ist. Ich hatte einen Unfall mit meinem Motorbike und er hat mich versorgt und meine Wunden gepflegt. Man hat einen eigenen netten bungalow für sich alleine. Er ist einfach ausgestattet aber schön und gemütlich. Für den Preis ist es perfekt.

A lovely cottage in nature. Perfect location to explore places such as Sigirya or Pollonaruwa. To go to the city center it costs you about 300 rupee for a tuk tuk. The owner was extremely kind, he arranged everything we asked him, to take the right bus or tuktuk and gave us all the advice we needed. One night we cooked together with him and his father who lives on the property. So nice to see how traditional Sri Lankan food is prepared. We got a tour in the herb garden and he gifted us a bottle of oil for my son's ear infection and a bag of home made tea. We had very nice talks about the various aspects of life. The breakfast was also delicious, something I haven't tried before in Sri Lanka. I would very much recommend this place, even if it's just to meet the owner!

A bit of noise from the road

A truly lovely and homely place to stay! The owner and his family are incredibly kind and genuine people who ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. He also organised and booked activities for us to do around the local area which were really great. The place itself is beautiful, quiet and very relaxing- staying within the owners spice garden with lots of pretty butterflies and the room was very spacious and clean. The owner gave us a free tour of the spice garden, providing very interesting information on the use and remedies of each plant. Also had really nice local food cooked for us for breakfast and dinner. I’d highly recommend this great stay! Thank you for having us and we will definitely return when visiting Sri Lanka again😊

Sunanda was a super friendly host. The place is very calm, behind his spice & herb garden and right next to the jungle. There are a lot of Birds and Butterflies, sometimes Giant Squirrels and Monkeys but no dangerous animals. The rooms are simple but comfortable and there are moskito nets. Sunanda gave us a lot of tips and arranged a few activities for us without ever being pushy. We went on a Safari to the national Park and on Pidurangala Rock and really enjoyed those trips.

Suanada was so friendly to organise a few activities for us. We went on a Safari to the national Park, on Pidurangala Rock and to an Ayurvedic massage place. The latter was a bit expensive though, so in hindsight we'd recommend asking Sunanda to help you to arrange a fair price first in case you want to go there.
