Wonderful traditional house to experience life as japanese. Very nice outside bathub although not big enough for two. Comfy beds and futons. Good breakfast and practical kitchen with full supply of complementary drinks. Perfect location. Extra friendly and helpful staff

"Luxurious authentic guest house."

Absolutely luxurious! A sauna, an outdoor soaking tub, and an even larger indoor wooden tub. The interior of the house was beautiful and peaceful. The view over the valley was gorgeous. Beds were comfortable.

I didn’t fully understand how far from town and how steep the walk back to the property was. But we quickly acclimated and the walk was very well worth it.
