The food was excellent, a good, comfortable bed a good shower and within walking distance to the Bombay Sapphire distillery.

A bit more gluten free choice would have been good but that's personal to my condition.

Lovely comfy rooms, really nicely decorated. Very clean. Delicious food. Very friendly & helpful staff.

Room 3 in the main building was over the kitchen & the staff had the radio on loudly early in the morning & early evening & you could hear the base. I did mention it to staff which helped. Didn't really appreciate having to ask though. Don't think it's acceptable if the room is occupied. The duvets were Winter thickness of 10.5 tog, which were far too thick for Summer so we just took them out & used the cover. Had room envy for all the other rooms which were a lot more spacious. Room 3 also had a pokey little bathroom. Recommend asking for garden room. They were stunning.

The pub was good, food very good and our rooms (garden delux rooms) were excellent. The staff were great and looked after our every need.

No food on a Sunday evening and the bar shut early.

Ideal location for our trip south and garden bedroom was very good.

There is an untapped market for literary tourists who want to see sites from the novel Watership Down. The area is difficult to get around without a car, so some local entrepreneur should offer a driving tour.

Only that the restaurant was shut so early but we were made aware of that beforehand so not their fault

The breakfast was very high quality and catered for all needs, and needs of children. The evening food was very high quality and staff very friendly. Room very spacious and of high quality, well decorated and furnished, our children liked the strong rabbit theme.

We stayed in one of the four chalets, a detached building away from the main premises. It was extremely nice, clean, modern and very spacious, with parking just a few steps away and a grassed garden area to the front and side. We had diner at the property, my wife and I both had the fillet steak which was glorious as was the toffee dessert.. . All the staff were very friendly and approachable.. and we thank you for making our stay an enjoyable experience.

We didn't like a group of bar guests coming into the garden area at the front of the chalets being a bit on the loud side, we wanted a quiet evening in after a long day and long drive, but ended up going out for an hour or so to get away from it. I personally felt the bed pillows were too soft, but my wife disagrees, so a matter of preference perhaps. A fridge in the room would've been nice to keep drinks and food cool. Breakfast starts at 8:30, which i felt was a bit late. There were aspects that were good and not so good. ie. Coffee was dreadful and milk was off. I think a tip should be discretionary.
