Lanta Queen Resort

We really did enjoy our stay at Lanta Queen Resort. Our room was immaculately clean, and kept that way by daily (if requested) cleaning and linen changes. The bungalow itself was simple with a comfortable bed, a wardrobe and a small amount of additional storage. There were also coffee making facilities and a fridge. The air conditioner excellent. There is a nice restaurant on site as well as a pretty bar that serves additional food and soft drinks. A laundry service is also available. We were also able to rent a scooter directly via the hotel at a very good rate. There are also a good selection of restaurants near by. And the location to Relax Bay was great. Long beach was slightly further up the road. Staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. We'd score it a very healthy 8.5 out of 10, although for some reason the algorithm gives it less.

The only downside for us was the lack of comfortable seating on our little balcony. The addition of a small brush (on the balcony) would also be very helpful, enabling guests to brush any sand off their feet and legs prior to entering the room. Small things, but would improve the overall experience.

Amazing!! All the people who work there are extremely nice and couldn’t have done more for us. Our room was made up every day with fresh towels and water. Wishing we could go back. You can rent mopeds from here and book onward travel. We did both. Food is also amazing.

The mattresses were too firm.

- Stayed there for a week in December 2024 - Clean - Daily housekeeping if requested (linens, towels, bottled water, toilet paper, nestle coffee) - Small wash basin for clothes and dry line on porch. - Kettle with coffee and basic utensils and plates - mini Fridge - Great AC - Wonderful coffee shop attached and restaurants in the area. - Easy walk to several beaches in the area. - Super friendly and helpful staff. The woman running the place said the resort had been in her family for 20+ years!

- There is a mosque across the street that does their call for prayer at ~5am every day. No amount of ear plugs or white noice could keep the roar of sound out each morning. We didn’t dock the hotel rating for this because they can’t really control it but something we wish we knew. - Standard firm Thai mattresses. - Cash only payment, normal but be prepared to have cash on hand.

The resort is very nice, well maintained with a perfect garden for breakfast. The rooms are spacious and very clean. the beach is close, many restaurants around. The staff is kind and with good sense, it is a place where I would return without hesitation. This lovely place deserves more than two stars.Thank you for your hospitality
