Chapa Stream House

The room was beautiful, clean, and neat. When we arrived, the owner welcomed me enthusiastically and thoughtfully. The way to the hotel was very easy to find even it located in a village. I felt really comfortable here.

The staff is really nice and the pool area is beautiful

Our room was dirty and full of ants, that's why we chose to leave the property earlier. This was no problem and we just had to pay one night.

I like the location as it is quiet and peaceful. The staff were accomodating and helpful.

The bed is not comfortable so I informed the staff and they immediately put anothet layer of mattress

Looks very clean and decent, I liked all the facilities. Great location too, lovely village with nice view. You can even see fireflies from the balcony. Staff was really nice and friendly.

The location was really special. The views were beautiful and it was lovely waking up to the stream and the mountains. There were minimarts and restaurants in walking distance and the village is a nice place to explore.

The bungalow seemed to have been empty for a while and there were dead insects laying on the surfaces. It probably could have done with a sweep before I arrived. The mattress seemed secondhand and you could feel every spring and the fitted sheet kept coming loose. The hot water ran out really fast and unfortunately I couldn’t even fill the bath halfway. There was rarely anyone at the front desk to ask questions of. I attempted to book a taxi through the from desk staff who told me the driver would contact me. When this didn’t happen, I organised someone else. Then both drivers turned up which was uncomfortable.

Looks beautiful and far from the city madness.

We booked the room with bath tub to take a bath (obviously) but there was never enough hot water to fill the bath tub so we couldn’t take a bath. Also there’s no door to the bathroom, very strange even just staying as a couple or a family. One of the staff speaks no English whatsoever so all she could say was ‘no’. The insulation of the room isn’t good so bugs would just be coming into the room.

Lovely little hotel/homestay. Very relaxing and near the river.

The location is a bit far outside Sapa so be aware of that before going. The beds are incredibly hard and we found them quite uncomfortable, however if you like hard beds this should be no problem.
