Mabuhay Guesthouse Kampot

Friendly welcome and the owners were all around very helpful. Very peaceful and surrounded by nature.

The property is a couple of km out of central Kampot. The final approach road was a bit bumpy in the tuktuk at first but a new improved road just opened so all good 👍

Lovely spot in the countryside outside of the city, perfect if you enjoy walking in nature and happy to walk/bike into the center. Incredibly well maintained pool. Lovely hosts, and friendly dogs! Great value for money.

I had a ground floor bungalow which was clean and comfy and for me it was perfect,the patio was great for relaxing by the pool,and only 10m from the bar which works on a tab system.The breakfast was great.The owners and staff wer very helpfull and friendly,location was quiet and peacefull.Would reccomend.

Location is nice and quiet with great mountain views.

I’m honestly not sure what everyone else is talking about. But what do you expect for the price point lol I found my room to be smelly ( sewage? Mildew?). I had to sweep a bunch of bugs or pods or something off the walls. The bedding was basically nonexistent. All they offered was a heavy comforter with no sheet. There were only two very old and threadbare towels provided. When swarmed by bugs when I opened my door in the morning the best they could offer was a bottle of raid. Refused to give me a different room.

Es ist sehr ruhig, da es abseits gelegen ist und die Besitzer darauf achten, dass es auf dem Gelände ruhig bleibt. Der Pool ist super. Nebenan gibt es ein Restaurant, das ausgezeichnetes Essen (auch vegetarisch) anbietet. Das Zimmer ist groß, das Bett bequem. Die Besitzer haben für mich eine Tour durch die Umgebung gebucht, das war sehr hilfreich und nett.

Das Bad/Zimmer fand ich nicht ausreichend gesäubert, ich habe selber noch einiges sauber gemacht, z.B. war die Ablage im Bad mehr als schmutzig. Das Hotel ist sehr weit außerhalb der Stadt, weshalb man immer ein Tuk-Tuk rufen und bezahlen muss, wenn man nicht selber mit einem Motorrad oder Auto unterwegs sein kann.
