We felt like royalty staying in the old castle above the city. Everything about the property was beyond our expectations. We even got to climb the old tower and enjoy the 360 degree view of the town and surrounding countryside. The breakfast was plentyful, with a great variety. The bar has a wonderful view of Estremoz, you can while away time enjoying the vista. Rooms were spacious and clean with large comfortable beds. Highly recommend for a base to explore the wineries and superb local restaurants.

O pequeno almoço foi muito maravilhoso , com tudo de melhor qualidade para se comer, numa sala belíssima aonde tudo parecia um conto de fadas. Já estamos a planear nosso nova viajem de férias para essa pousada mágica .

Bijzondere Pousada op een leuke plek. Vriendelijk personeel, goed bed, lekker zwembad met genoeg stoelen en ook nog eens een prima ontbijt. Wij hebben niet hier gegeten, wel bij de buren (oude gevangenis). En dat is net als hun rooftop bar een aanrader

Vond de inrichting heel somber, met name door de vele donkere schilderijen. Maar snap het wel, past bij de pousada. Maar had misschien wat minder ver doorgevoerd kunnen worden.

It was an amazing experience to stay in a real Castle. The interiors were beautifully decorated with a sympathetic style to the historic building. The views from the bar/lounge area were lovely. Breakfast was very nice as was the dinner in the restaurant. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable and nicely furnished. Plenty of parking outside in the square.
