Croisgeir Self Catering Pod

Very clean, kitchen is well equipped and cannot fault anything.

It was a new experience and very enjoyable. It was cosy, warm ,well designed and thoughtfully equipped. The welcome basket was excellent and the hosts very welcoming and helpful. The local beach was amazing and only a short walk away and always deserted!

There was nothing to dislike.

Was my first time in a pod and was absolutely great just what I wanted.

Cooking facilities and little extras like eggs and milk made all the difference. Our just Amanda was lovely!!

We stayed at this Pod during our Hebridean Way cycling tour, and it couldn't have been better! The pod was incredibly cosy, spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished. Everything we needed, and more, was thoughtfully provided, from kitchen essentials to the smallest details, all perfectly stored and organized. The bed was extremely comfortable, offering a restful night’s sleep after a long day of cycling. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket filled with bread, milk, eggs, coffee, tea, and other thoughtful touches—a real treat! Communication with Amanda, the host, was first-class. The location is stunning, and the beach is just a short walk away. Highly recommend this pod for anyone exploring the area!

The pod is so comfortable!! Amanda provided well for us. A lovely walk to a Beach and close to cafe, shopping, pub.

Spotless and cozy…hosts supplied eggs and bread, not expected and a special treat to add to my dinner…very kind!

Bit of a challenge to find but once I got back online I noticed they had added some identifying details the day before I was scheduled to arrive which would have helped.

Very comfortable unit with all new furnishings. Good shower. The owner brought me four fresh eggs from his hen on arrival, offered to let me use his bike, and offered to be helpful in any way he could. Very good value for the quality of the unit.

Peaceful location on a sheep and cattle ranch. But in the middle of nowhere. Quite a drive to get to a pub and grocery store. Beach was a 1-mile walk through the muddy pasture. It was not a swimmable beach. Because unit is on a ranch, flies are everywhere. Could not open the windows or flies would come into the unit. Asked the owner if they had screens to put on window so that I could open them. They did not have screens. They suggested I only keep the windows open slightly.
