Rooms At Mcternans

Room was nice and cosy, there is a Chinese restaurant just ten minutes walk and has the best Chinese food I have yet tasted. All was great we had a lovely weekend.

Odour smell in room. Next morning no key return box in hallway, as pub opens after 10am. In general for the price breakfast should be included

The folks that stayed in the room next to us came in very late and were very noisy and we could hear everything they were saying.

The bed was comfortable, the shower temperature and water pressure was lovely. There were plenty of pillows and blankets. There were free plugs next to both sides of the bed. Free WiFi was a good speed. Good to have an open wardrobe to hang our jackets.

While the place was visibly very clean, there was a strong and persistent mildew smell. The extractor fan was non-functional in the bathroom and after we both had showers l was coughing and sneezing until we checked out, so I think there may be a bit of a mould issue. Also the heat booster for the radiator had a very bright blue light that never turned off, which woke me up a few times.

Beautiful room, decorated to a very high standard and I loved the freshness of the bedcovers and the pop of colour in the room, the bathroom was very spacious and the shower was delightful, the room was spotless and I was asked if I needed more towels etc and I really liked the coffee station it was very well stocked and the bottled water was a good touch

Rooms were spotless and very comfortable - really quiet too. I would highly recommend this accommodation and very happily stay there again. I thought it was really good value for money and check in and out was so efficient and simple.

Staff and room were very nice

Room was very cold and heater kept going on and off. Shower plug got completely blocked and I had to use all the towels as the water was going into the bedroom. I didn't know until I got out of the shower. So I had to put all the towels down to soak it up. Normal stay downstairs and this never happened. Ok was disappointed
