"If you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend this place."

- the flat is nice, renovated and very well equipped - close to bars and restaurants - friendly and helpful host

- a bit far from the railway station but still ok if somebody does not mind walking ca 30-30 minutes - the street is not big but quite busy (during the day a car passes by (every few - 10 seconds) and due to the single glazing you hear the cars quite a lot with the windows closed - in the morning I started to hear them from 5:00 on - the flat seems to me to be very poorly insulated from the neighbors' side. From 5:00 (3rd night I woke up at around 6:00) on noises - flushing of the toilet, the dog, voices, moving of furniture. One morning, just after 5:00 a sound of a machine for 30-40 minutes. The host knows the issue and is interested in improvement. I do not know what could be done about it. It seems to be a common problem of many Italian flats - the same issue in 5 flats I stayed in this year in Italy. I gave the 6 mark for the noise only.
