Pros: • Convenient Location: The property is situated close to the metro, making it easy to get to downtown Amsterdam. • Clean Bedding: While guests are required to make their own bed upon arrival, it was reassuring to know the bedding was freshly laundered.

Cons: • Dark and Poorly Lit Interior: The inside of the property was very dark, with inadequate lighting that made it feel unwelcoming. • Excessive Noise: Constant noise from wind and road traffic above made it difficult to relax or get restful sleep. • Lack of Amenities Information: • While there was an old “things to do” book left on the table, it did not include any helpful information about using appliances or features in the property. • Shower Issues: • No hot water in the shower upon arrival, which was fixed after contacting the owner, but the issue reoccurred the following day. • Heating Problems: • The heater stopped working during our stay. After contacting the owner, we were told to use a small space heater instead, which was not adequate for the cold weather. • Cleanliness Issues: • The property appeared clean on the surface but had overlooked areas, such as dirty drawers and leftover food in the freezer. • DIY Chores: • Guests are required to make their own bed upon arrival, and before check-out, you must remove the bedding, clean the property, and take the trash outside. This is a surprising amount of work, especially given the cleaning fee charged at booking.

We've stayed here on a number of occasions. Car is essential. It is a great location for visiting Amsterdam (via the train or underground - about 10 mins drive away). We like being in the countryside and the accomodation itself is fine for self-catering. Good value for money.
