Awatara Villa & Resort

Staff were lovely and pool area was nice, location was pretty central.

Villas were old fashioned/outdated, this showed with rust, stains etc and there were lots and lots of ants coming into the villa. We were also certain there were rats in the roof/ceiling as they were very noisy above the bedrooms throughout the day and at night.

It had a gorgeous pool and gardens and the staff were just excellent. Comfortable beds and great air con.

It wasn’t actually in Ubud and as we had two small children we needed a driver and it took us 1.5hr in traffic to get to Ubud because it was so jammed. When we went all 4 of us on the scooter, obviously less safe but it only took 20 mins or less.

a little bit far from town I asked them about a tour, it's more expensive than usual.

Beautiful temple style villas. Comfy bed and lovely pool !

As it is close to a rice field there are very large geckos , which will only be an issue if you are afraid of them . However staff were so wonderful with helping us chase away geckos, any time of day or night ! We love them.

The staff were amazing. Very helpful and kind. The bed and pillows and towels were so soft haha. Wahana was very helpful and always goes above and beyond. Place is away from busy setting but still 15mins to ubud center. Next to rice plantations which was an amazing view.
