Aberdeen home stay

Good value for.money and a comfy bed. The location was good, central to town. I enjoyed our stay and we would stay there again.

The television needs some help as the reception is not very good and hardly any channels. Apart from that everything was good, nice and roomy and clean.

After catching up with friends and family, it was really nice to go to the home stay and just chill out. My bed was so comfortable, and I slept like a log.

The neighbors but unfortunately we can't avoid them that's life.

Couldnt sleep at all, as next door having a party till morning 5am, very noisy

The advertising was misleading and was only for rooms in a share house with others in the Garage sharing all facilities. I had booked under the impression that I had 2 separate units. The garden views was a dying lawn. We left soon after booking in and got alternative accommodation. While the bedrooms were clean the living area lounge was gross. I would not recommend this!

Room too small for two adults. Two single beds occupied 90% of the floor space. No clothes hangers. No space for suitcases. No mirrors in room. House is souless with no soft furnishings. Location further from Gisborne amenities than expected.

No safety warnings were given by the property, and no parking options were provided. Therefore, street parking was the only thing possible. Our car was broken into during the night, and the ignition barrel was stolen; we were stuck in Gisborne with no help from anyone for 5 hours. The positive qualities of the property gets trumped by the significant security problems of the neighbourhood, which, from speaking with inhabitants, is a common occurrence.

The owner is very kind and accommodating. Thank you very much to Jack for my stay at his establishment.
