Apartments KOMEL I

I found out my alternate reservation fell through at about 9pm. Then I found Komel Apts on Booking.com. He drove down to my flustered pitty-partying self so I could just follow him to the apartment and was able to give an upgrade. Private secure parking. Full kitchen including all the hardware (pots pans, etc.) Shower big enough for me, and i am big, with a soap/shampoo dish and water as hot as you like. Terrace and adjoining bedroom have a gorgeous view over old town and the Adriatic. The plants are lovely. Everything is clean. What else is there? Hosts are friendly. Great Value!

Stairs. I didn't like the stairs from the parking lot up to the apt. But you can drop off and pick up your luggage from Put uz Dol, the small street behind and at apt level.

The hosts are very nice, friendly couple, always available and very helpful.Lovely view from the terrace.

Kitchen is quite small size.

It was clean with a nice view and everything you need when staying in an apartment. Bus station is right in front of the apartment so it's very practical. Despite being close to road it's quiet and owners are very kind.

The view is sublime.

The terrace has no parasol and nothing to be protected again the sun and the railing is not finished properly. The ants invaded one room and one bathroom. The owner tried to clean it up, exterminate once, but the ants, including flying ants came back. After the second day he did NOT answered on our request. We made it ourselves but we lost one room. We were sleeping with the children 4 in one bedroom. The pictures has been taken the last day. The situation was even much worse when we arrived. That thing happens. But the problem is: the owner did NOT come when we were leaving and he did NOT proposed any compensation to us. Bad vibes. The environment around is sublime.
