Taaibos Bush Lodge

De warme ontvangst van Jeroen en zijn personeel! De prachtige lodge en het domein waarin de lodge ligt! Volledig nieuw met alle comfort! Het mooie zwembad! De dieren die tot aan de lodge komen! Ook de communicatie is,perfect met de eigenaars. Ze regelen elke vraag die je hebt. Het feit dat de eigenaars nederlands spreken was voor ons echt heel aangenaam. De lodge is zo mooi! Ik kan het iedereen aanraden en als ik naar Hoedspruit kan terugkomen ( wie weet later nog eens met vrienden of familie) zal ik zeker daar opnieuw boeken! Fabulous setting, really private rooms. Wonderful welcome from Jeroen. Even before we arrived he was in contact, making dinner reservations and keeping us updated as to the situation after the floods. This is what hospitality is.

Taaibos Lodge in Hoedspruit is an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The lodge itself is stunning, super clean, luxurious. beautifully maintained and surrounded by incredible wildlife. I had the unforgettable experience of seeing a giraffe, numerous antelopes, and even warthogs right from my bed view: a true highlight of my stay! Jeroen, the owner, is the definition of professional and goes above and beyond to ensure every detail is perfect. From arranging activities to making sure you feel completely at ease, his care and attention are exceptional. Thanks also to Pepijn, his partner, and the entire team who were amazing. A very special shoutout to Bright, who not only prepares a top-notch breakfast every morning (along with many other responsibilities he manages professionally) but also shares fascinating insights as a true South African Tsonga local. I feel I’ve gained so much insight from him and now consider him a friend! This lodge offers more than just accommodation: it’s an experience. I can’t wait to return and would highly, highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hoedspruit. Truly unforgettable!

5 nights were not enough :)

Wij verbleven 4 nachten in Taaibos. Het verblijf was fenomenaal. De appartementen zijn erg privé en je zit echt midden in de “bush”. Buitendouche en badkamer zijn super. Jeroen en Pepijn zijn super gastheren en helpen je waar nodig. Wij komen hier zeker terug als we nog een keer naar Zuid-Afrika gaan.

The location, peace and nature . The place was comfortable and quiet, soooo relaxed. The owner and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was top notch.

Fantastische locatie met dito accommodaties. Perfecte gastheren die er ondanks dat het Kruger was afgesloten vanwege de regenval er toch in slaagden om excursies te organiseren. Geen enkel minpunt te noemen en wij komen zeker terug.

An absolute beautiful gem in the Wild Life Estate, Jeroen and his staff are so very friendly. The cottages are absolutely beautiful l. The breakfast is absolutely amazing you won't need lunch. I can highly recommend and I will be back soon. The bathroom has the best showers 9
