"Very good"

8.0

Bungalow was comfortable and grateful for the mosquito coil. Wendy was great and very helpful when our taxi didn't turn up to collect us in the morning. I would recommend asking the accommodation to book transfers to and from the property. They were unable to get the generator started on our 2nd night and felt really bad as they were really trying and you can't eat without it. Would like to see hammocks either on the bungalow balcony or among the trees

Not sure if it was the season or if the sea is always a bit rough but made snorkeling difficult. Property can't do anything about that. The property could do with stocking more bottled water. I would advise people to take bottled water and snacks with them if staying here

"Little gem in Santo with best price to value ratio in Vanuatu!"

10.0

It’s a little paradise, away from the hustle and bustle of Luganville! We had paradise just to ourselves! I really can‘t agree with the last review that was written here. Our rooms were ready when we got there. The Bungalow was really clean, yes maybe some small stains on the white linen (what do you expect in the tropics). Wendy is an absolutely amazing host! She goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome! Food is absolutely delicious in the restaurant and fairly priced as they are large portions as well! They even prepared us breakfast when we had to leave for the airport at 5:45 am!! You can charge your phone while you eat at the restaurant - they always turn on the generator from 6:30 pm - 8pm so you can also charge it in your room. We had no issues with using the solar power even during rainy season. Our Mosquito net had no holes. There are also mosquito nets on all the windows and there is bug spray in the room and anti mosquito coils. All in all it was a very comfortable stay and by far the best price to value ratio we have had in whole Vanuatu! Would stay with Wendy at Lonnoc Lodge everytime!

Nothin really. It’s a piece of paradise for a very affordable price! Just don’t expect a luxury 4star hotel.

Nice setting, tasty welcome drinks.

Rooms weren’t ready when we arrived, holes in mosquito net, very dirty rooms that were not looked after at all, bloodstains on sheets and pillows, no power (lights or outlets), breakfast was included in price but not received.

The lodge was simple, but very nice. The view from it was gorgeous!! Wendy was a very nice and kind host! She helped us a lot. We had breakfast and dinner there, it was yummy. Champagne beach is just couple of minutes away. I can only recommend the place!

The mosquitoes but it’s to be expected when staying here, maybe a fan for the room to plug in also

"If you seek real island life, culture and rural simplicity, than we highly recommend Lonnoc Beach Lodge. It’s a very sim"

6.0

Lonnoc Beach Lodge is situated about a 10 min walk to Champagne Beach. The location is really nice and the small sandy beach at Lonnoc is also a very nice place to swim. Lonnoc Beach Lodge is a simple and basic accommodation, therefore you get for what you pay. The price is very reasonable. Pls note it’s basic, no hot water, no electricity ( only solar), no fan and only at night possible to charge your phones etc. Its basically stepping back in time, therefore it’s not for everybody. But if you seek local and look for culture this is the place, as here the pace is slow and you get the real feel of island life. You will still find people making Laplap and cooking on the fire. People are very friendly and before you know ( and make the time for it) you will know everyone’s name. If you would go to a Resort you certainly will miss out. At Lonnoc Beach you will see cattle, pigs and chicken wondering around and locals will wave at you and have a chat. Therefore we really loved Lonnoc.

It’s a bit run down and need some TLC. But Wendy really did here best with the resources she has. Prices off food is too expensive for what you get, there is no balance. But this is in all Vanuatu. ( thanks Wendy and Cindy it was really nice to meet you).

Price is low for the location and the view you get

Over the normal number of mosquitos for the rest of Vanuatu, had 10+ seated at my net when usual see 1-2 at most

"Island paradise."

9.0

We absolutely loved our stay with Wendy at Lonnoc. This location is a must if you’re coming to Vanuatu. The surrounding places to explore are stunning. Lonnoc beach lodge is very close to Champange beach, the blue holes and Port Orly. Wendy’s cooking was lovely and we really enjoyed her hospitality.

Nothing we didn’t like. Just a heads up that it is a bit more remote to get to. Bring enough cash with you and bring mosquito repellant- potentially it would be nice for mosquito nets on the bed.
