GBGBRecently decorated to a high standard. Very personal service
No breakfast
GBGBGBGBGBLocation was great for visiting family and in a very quiet area. We had a single and double room. Both were a good size and nicely decorated and very clean. Milk in bottles were provided and also nice biscuits. Nice toiletries were available including hair conditioner which has not always been given at some places I've stayed in. The beds were very comfortable. It was a very hot night and fans were in the room which was great as it helped stay cool enough to sleep.
The floor was squeaky in the single room. Not an issue for the person using the room but it could disturb others if they heard someone walking across the floor during the night. The en suite in the double had a bath, not a stand in shower. I much prefer a shower and although the bath had a hand held shower tap it's not the same kneeling in the bath showering yourself down! Also the door was a sliding barn style door which did not fully close, there was a gap between the door edge and door frame when the door was closed and I felt it did not give enough privacy. It was ok in the single but I would prefer fully closed door there with a partner.

Single room was a bit small
GBThe guy was sooooooooooo accommodating as he greeted me late at night as my arrival was past 10pm, I was just gutted that I couldn't eat at the pub as I have stayed before and the food is exceptional. Really good staff very helpful and the room was spot on for me, really clean, comfy, fresh milk for a brew, biscuits. As someone who works away from home on occasions it was really good.
