I booked two rooms for three people and one 8-month-old baby in an apartment via Booking. I thought Booking only cooperated with verified providers. Based on the history of hotels I’ve booked through your company, you can see that I travel frequently to various countries and have never encountered such a situation. Just because someone leaves trash unemptied and dishes in the sink does not entitle the host to use offensive language and demand €200 for cleaning. I strongly disagree with this resolution. The apartment had only one small bin that couldn’t fit the trash, there were no garbage bags provided, and there were no dumpsters in front of the building. In the bathroom, there was a tiny bin that barely fit three small diapers, which is why one wrapped diaper was left on the floor. I believe that cleaning up after guests is the landlord’s responsibility and is included in the price. The Wi-Fi in the room didn’t work, the washing machine didn’t spin at all, and the kitchen lacked dish towels. The beds were very small and uncomfortable, so we had to move a bed from the other room just to be able to sleep. There was road noise in the rooms and the floor was dirty.

Easy access with a code, fenced-in and secured parking for our car, air conditioning, ample space for all family members, a bus line to Venice and the airport right in front of the apartment (and the buses pass by all the time; tickets can be bought on the bus by tapping your credit card but you must remember to tap again before you get off or they will charge you the max amount), proximity to the airport, and restaurants within walking distance, plenty of shampoo/conditioner/body wash, and towels, clean place, basic coffee and tea provided. We loved our stay! We'll be back!

The WiFi password provided at the location did not work. We had to reach out to the host who then provided the correct password and then the wifi access worked well.
