Óbidos Pátio House

This is the perfect place to stay within the walls of Obidos, not only because of its quiet location and comfortable rooms, but also because of the lovely owners and their fabulous breakfasts. The hospitality and warmth they provided was so appreciated! The first night we parked just outside the wall on a nearby street and the second night, we parked in the large free lot across from the main entrance. Both were easy access to the town.

What a fantastic place - great location inside the walls, wonderful hosts, amazing breakfast, old building charm with modern updated accommodations, and super comfy/large bed. It was our favorite stay during our month in Europe.

The location is very good, and the hosts are very friendly. The breakfast is delicious.

The showers are very small; my daughter ran out of hot water halfway through her shower. And I couldn't shower at night because the water came out freezing cold—even though the host assured me that the hot water tank is very large.

Das kleine Gästehaus mitten in der mittelalterlichen Stadt und gleichzeitig ruhig gelegen mit einer unglaublich netten und aufmerksamen Gastgeber-Familie ist sehr freundlich und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen und wir haben bedauert, nur eine Nacht hier zu verbringen, statt unsere Seele länger in dieser charmanten Stadt und ihre Umgebung baumeln zu lassen.

Kräftigere Personen könnten die Dusche als zu klein empfinden.

Eu entendi a excelente avaliação e acho que deveria ser ainda melhor, infelizmente não tem nota 1000 para dar. Seu Gilberto não é só o dono, ele é uma das melhores pessoas que já tive a oportunidade de conhecer, gentil, atencioso, preocupado com nossa experiência e bem estar, até carona nos deu! O hotel fica em uma casa antiga de família, aconchegante, simpática, linda; por dentro as reformas que foram feitas garantiram o nosso conforto sem perder a essência do local e o encanto de se estar dentro da muralha do castelo, além do ambiente ser extremamente limpo e cheiroso. O ar condicionado/aquecedor manteve a temperatura do quarto super bem. Tinha Ginja da casa, água e outras amenidades que foram claramente pensadas para o bem estar do hóspede. Creio nunca ter sido tão bem tratada. O café da manhã além de completo, gostoso e dele ter nos permitido comer mais cedo do que o horário estipulado, ainda nos deu a sensação de estar em casa. Vale super a pena dormir em Óbidos e, com certeza, eu nunca me hospedaria em outro lugar, o valor a se pagar pela acomodação é pouco diante do sentimento de felicidade que fica pela incrível escolha. Só tenho a agradecer a equipe.

The most beautiful, genuine warm hosts! Patio House was spotless and centrally located within the walls of Óbidos. Breakfast was 5-star. Cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our stay.
