Krasna Hiška - Authentic Heritage Home

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful little house. The hosts were very welcoming and the house was very clean and well equipped. We hope to return one day.

Very quiet and peaceful. The house is in a small, sleepy village on top of a hill, and you hardly see anyone around. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, which was actually a plus for us. There is a church next door that rings its bell around 7 a.m., but it didn't bother us. If anything, it added to the atmosphere. The owners, Helena and Jernej, were friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. We needed some freezer space and they were happy to help. The house is comfortable and decorated with a lot of character. It's clear the owners put thought and effort into making it memorable. The kitchen is on the ground floor and has everything you need, including a stove and microwave (no oven). Upstairs, the bedroom has a large, comfortable bed and access to a small balcony with a lovely sofa next to an acacia tree. There is also a huge old-style wardrobe, though it only has limted space with shelves (mostly hanging space). The property has a fully private lawn area wedged between the house and the neighboring building, with a picnic table, benches, and a barbecue.

A few minor things we missed, though none were deal-breakers: - The bedside tables and power outlets are not very practical. You have to choose between using the lamp or charging your phone. The tables are too far to reach from the bed. - The bathroom was fine overall, but the water pressure was modest, as you might expect in an older house. The water temperature may also feel a bit low if you prefer very hot showers. - The lawn is pleasant but quite exposed, with no shade or trees. Even in May, it was difficult to sit there in full sun, and the surrounding walls block most of the breeze. - A couple of sun loungers or more comfortable outdoor seating would make the space even better. We suggested this to the owners. Overall, the place is great for a quiet weekend getaway.

Ein Kleinod mit ganz viel Liebe zu Detail renoviert und eingerichtet. Super herzliche Begrüßung durch Jelena. Aufenthalt absolut unkompliziert. Gutes (romantisches) Bett. Sogar eine Flasche des eigenen (guten) Rotweins gab's für uns. Einkaufen kann man auf dem Heimweg der div. Aktivitäten.

Podobało nam się absolutnie wszystko. Lokalizacja na górze w mikroskopijnej wsi przypominającej włoskie miasteczka. Wokół natura, lasy, łąki. Spokój, cisza i niesamowita atmosfera to coś czego poszukuję podróżując. Krasna Hiska to autentyczne miejsce tworzone przez wspaniałych ludzi z pasją. Styl, jakoś, wykonanie - wszystko na najwyższym poziomie rzadko spotykanym w turystyce. Gospodarze fantastyczni. Pomyliłem się w dacie rezerwacji a problem został rozwiązany ekspresowo. Helena, Jernej bardzo dziękujemy Wam za pobyt. Na pewno wrócimy. Jedno z najlepszych miejsc jakie odwiedziłem w całym życiu :)

Krasna hiška, the beautiful house is perfect. Authentic, extremely well equipped. Everything is very clean, the bed is extremely comfortable. Nothing is missing in the kitchen. It is located on the edge of a small village. Peace and privacy are guaranteed. There is a small church nearby, the ringing of bells and in the evening hours, when you hear a cuckoo looking for its company, make your stay more pleasant. Helena and Jernej are just as wonderful as their house.
