"DO NOT BOOK - CANCELLED OUR STAY MORNING OF ARRIVAL"

Property owner cancelled our holiday stay at 11:00 in the morning of the day we were supposed to check in due to building works (that we were not told were even going on) that were now not going to be finished in time for us to arrive. Luxury Costal though were excellent and sorted out for us to stay somewhere else and upgraded us and we had an amazing holiday.

"Disappointing for the cost"

Location to Newquay. Modern. Comfy beds. Well equipped.

Smell in living room area , investigated by gas engineer, not leak but needed windows open constantly and candle to enable sitting in living room. Spoilt stay. Unable to relax in living room area. We were by told local agent they were unable to smell but all our family smelt it as soon as we walked in. Worried it was coming from within the property and wasn’t resolved. Parking. Tidiness of front and back garden. Rubbish bins at front and see area of back area on attached photo. Also see back bedroom picture.

Great location. Spacious and homely.

Only thing was all beds left as doubles and my 14 & 17 year olds weren’t happy about sharing.

The property was spacious and had a real homely feel too it. The bedrooms and bathroom were a real plus + the beds were mega comfortable and had PLENTY of room. The garden facilities were a real bonus, sitting area when the weather was nice and hanging area for the washing.

Only a few pitfalls. The property when we arrived, had a foisty/Musty smell as we entered, as if it hadn’t had a real clean. But, as we were a group of males we didn’t really have much to complain about. The final one isn’t a downfall really of the property, it’s more it’s location. The house is on a hill if you were older or struggled on your feet, you’d struggle accessing the town centre by walking.
