- perfect location near the fort and souq - owner and his family are incredibly nice and we received a warm welcome and hospitality. He responded to our needs and tried to fulfill them. - the rooms are next to each other so parents can keep an eye on their children. Minor flaws are offset by warmth and location.

- cleanliness could be a little better, but nothing critical

Location is near the city centre.

When I arrived at the location listed on Booking.com, there was no sign of the Airbnb. I couldn’t get in touch with the owner, so I ended up standing outside for quite a while. Later the owner picked me up and drove me to a different location, claiming that the room had already been taken by other guests. The place he drove me to wasn’t listed on Booking.com, and it was tucked away in a dark alley with poor room conditions. To make matters worse, they didn’t accept credit cards, and I don’t think it was ever mentioned on Booking.com. The owner's English was poor, and he even sat on the bed in the room and asked if I wanted to hang out with him after 10 pm. Whether it’s an Airbnb or a hotel-wise service, everything was very unprofessional, and as a solo traveler, I didn’t feel safe especially since there was a door that allowed the owner's family to access into the room. In the end, I decided to move to another hotel.

Best location in nizwa, in a small side street, 3 min walk to the amazing souk. Ali Jebel is the nicest host and he tried to fulfill me every wish and we had nice talks on the terrace. Shokran! I'll come back for sure to explore the amazing surroundings ...y

The owner was really friendly and help with me with everything what I needed. He invited for breakfast to his home. The location was a really great. It was near the Nizwa Fort.
