Capitol Hill Carriage House

The carriage house was clean, modern and well laid out. The location was ideal for us, close to our daughter and a 10-minute walk to the Eastern Market Metro stop. The street was quiet and parking was easy.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. It was all as advertised.

A lovely well presented house, perfect for a couple. All you needed for a visit to Washington. Great location, local amenities were brilliant, it's a great area with easy access to downtown DC. Facilities were all there for a comfy and pleasant stay. Definitely the highlight accommodation of our two week road trip around the US. We were sad to leave, will definitely stay here again on our next trip over.

Nothing, it was all good.

Location is great, hosts were welcoming, property is quite small but nicely decorated - very comfortable bed, all the necessary appliances in the kitchen, washer and dryer, all you need for a comfortable short term visit to the city.

We were missing at least small dining table for 2, sofa could be more comfortable. Since this is old renovated house, windows are not sound proof.

Great stay at the Carriage house, it had everything we could need, really well designed space in a great part of town, would happily return!

Fabulous location close to some of WA DC's most iconic restaurants (eg. MARKET LUNCH! ROSES LUXURY); close to a Metro station, lovely, safe, friendly neighborhood; devilishly clever interior design but functional; one of the delightful features is the kitchen is fully equipped so you can go to the nearby Eastern Market and buy fab homemade pasta and sauce and have a nice chill evening; includes parking, a precious commodity in WA DC (but we didn't use it); diverse coffee choices in the kitchen (Nespresso!); -- oh and fun area for a jog -- safely! - the Marines are nearby practicing from the oldest post circa 1801.

I disliked nada. ;-)

All was in good condition and working well. Plenty of small details. They provided coffee pods, tea, cereals, oil.... Very usefull gadgets. Also washer and dryer with detergents. Close to supermarket, restaurants and public transport.

Communication dificulties as you can only contact the owners thru Booking and the phone is not atended

great contact with the owner, free parking around the property. despite being small house has everything that is needed. washing machine, dryer, cooker and tv projector. I like the style of interior, nice and safe area, its far from shops and center though.

i don't like everything connected to alexa and listening. speaker downstairs, next to the bed and all lightning.
