"Very nice guesthouse in a safe and green environment."

Nice setting in a green garden. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Location feels safe. Staff is friendly, experienced and efficient. Breakfast was OK, after resolving the discussion if the breakfast was included in our package or not (it was).

"Excellent, but...."

It is an excellent guesthouse with excellent staff. But.....

The neighbor on the side of the pool has a dog and an unhinged owner. At night its not bad, but in the day that dog starts barking. It is relentless. It cuts to the bone like being assaulted. It is absolutely horrible and comes and goes at the most unexpected times. If you spend time in the day at the guesthouse take some calming medication. Strong stuff as you might be driven insane as I was. The wonderful staff can do nothing about it and I could feel their embarrassment. The owners should approach a lawyer and the town council as the barking is too much. Its a dog with a gifted barking talent, loud, incessant and annoying. I left a good review as the staff is not at fault. The stay is a one review as it was awful, but the place itself gets a good review for now. If you don't attend this issue, I assure you your reviews will take a dive as that dog is unbearable. I like animals, but there are limits.
