NZKylie was a great host coming around quickly to fix a light. beds and pillows really comfy. Nice and warm and close to town
It would be great to have a proper fridge rather than a wine fridge. The 2 seater was comfy but it would be good to have a couple more comfortable chairs for the lounge area. It would be lovely to have some milk in the fridge for a cuppa when you arrive

AULovely place but, could there have been more crockery please? Plenty of cups and glasses, 4 plates, but no bowls or bread and butter plates. We had to go and buy our own.
NZNZThis wee refurbished town house unit was comfortable, clean, and spacious for a family of 4. It sits just off of the main road at the top of Kaikoura, so it's location is handy in that respect. I would recommend this place as a cute wee couples getaway home as it's more set up and suited for two sets of adults. Would stay here again for sure 😊.
If you're coming with the idea of sipping coffee as you gaze over the spectacular views of Kaikoura, this property isn't for you. It is a unit amongst other units in a set of flat or townhouse homes, which is intimidating when you have excitable children, lucky it was raining for our stay and it was simply a late over nighter. And as you pay a reasonable cleaning fee on top of accommodation costs, some people may find their tidy up rules a bit cheeky. Again as an overnight stay it wasn't really an issue for us, but I could see the potential frustration in this.
NZThe location was really good. A small comfortable bed. Clean. So very clean. Beautiful colours on the walls. Beautiful bedding. Comfy pillows. Deck. Very nice. Will be even better as garden grows. Priced well. With upgrades it will be a tidy place to stay. Communication with the hosts was quick and easy.
Small comfortable bed (my partner is 6'3".) Other bed was rock hard, like sleeping on a piece of wood. That person did not sleep at all. The fridge! It was a wine fridge so it did not keep items cold. No freezer--means nowhere to keep ice. Shower has no water pressure. No extra rubbish bags, no bottle opener. Needs another lounge chair. A two seater wasn't enough. I understand this was a recent purchase and more upgrades will happen--well, need to happen.
