Villa Mar

Villa Mar was in a great location close to Dreamland Beach - which was bit busy to be honest, we went back there on our last morning around 8.30 and it was lovely before the crowds. We went to Thomas Beach another day which was great and not so busy. We made full use of the "Grab" App and visited some great cafes for breakfast - Salty cafe and Nourish and some great restaurants for supper - a mexican restaurant: walking distance from Villa Mar and thoroughly recommend Mason's bar and grill - amazing cocktails and outstanding food and great vibes. Great artisan markets and shops It was lovely to return to Villa Mar for a bit of peace away from the vibrant Uluwatu vibes.

Villa Mar is currently surrounded by building sites which would have been good to know, having said that many places in this area are in the same situation!

The villa had a great vibe and the host was excellent. It’s double story so not ideal for little kids to go up the steep stairs. Also a bit of construction going around when we were there but still very safe. Best part of our Bali trip. Lots of great kid friendly cafes around and awesome gym facilities.

Lovely property, great location for Dreamland beach and to explore the area. Outstanding staff and property.

The villa was well-maintained, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. The owner was kind and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed.

Surrounded by construction

We had a lovely stay at Villa Mar. The host was very responsive and tended to all our requests very promptly. It was well placed to both Dreamland and Bingin beach, just a short scooter ride. The facilities were exceptional with beautiful rooms and bathrooms, coffee and filtered water. Thank you very much!

There was some construction next door that made it loud at times however you would probably struggle to find a building in Uluwatu not next to construction!
