Modern Guest House

The property is very close to Blenheim Palace (10 minute walk) which was the main reason for our stay. It is also very handy for stopping in Woodstock with plenty of bars, restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance.

For us this was a disappointing stay which started with having to chase for the information to enter the apartment. The property has a quirky design with lots of cupboards and drawers in a very open plan main living space. Unfortunately, many of these cupboard doors / drawers are misaligned or fail to close / stay closed. A lot of the space is taken up with either personal items or other clutter leaving very little space for us to store our own clothing. There is no storage up on the mezzanine where the bed is so all clothing has to be stored downstairs. We also had issues with the cleanliness of the property with numerous cobwebs being visible.

This was a lovely break for 3 volunteers at Blenheim International Horse trials. The accommodation was amazing the apartment was warm and clean, there was water milk and fruit juice in the fridge, tea and coffee and a gorgeous fruit bowl, fluffy towels and crisp sheets which really made us feel at home. The beds were very comfy, the shower amazing! and all in all a superb place to rest up after our exhausting 3 days volunteering. This place was so high tech we were a bit bamboozled at first but found our way round the remote controls for things!

Not much to dislike, perhaps a bath would have been nice!

The place was super clean and open. The bed was super comfy and the shower was amazing. There was water, milk and fresh orange Juice in the fridge which was lovely

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property although parking was a little bit of a pain as I had to park on the high street. I knew there was no parking though so I did expect I may have issues finding a space somewhere
