Food was very good and so was the wifi

Location of hotel was poor nothing in this area, airport shuttle listed as a facility however the hotel staff would not even ring a taxi for us, very unhelpful. They seem to have agreement with local tuk tuk drivers and send you outside to agree rates with them which are 3/4 times higher than the rest of Sri Lanka rates. Hotel staff although polite were not helpful Venue is also in need of some repair rooms are damp - mors like a 3 / 3.5

We originally booked and paid for 2 nights but left after one night and moved hotels. We felt the property was extremely dated and it didn’t really have any facilities. They had a problem with the card machine when we tried to pay for drinks and they kept us waiting for an hour at 10pm at night in the lobby area rather than allowing us to go to our room until it was fixed. We didn’t enjoy our stay.

property is nothing like the imagery and rooms smelt really bad . horrible grout issues and toilet had broken tiles. needs a good clean and is far overdue refurbishment

I totally loved my stay at The Palms . The room was clean and fancy, facing the sea, with a lovely view from the balcony .. the property has its own private beach with all amenities.. very considerate staff which made the stay all the more worthwhile .. peaceful resort with lots of palm trees just as the name suggests .. would surely recommend .. will be coming back again soon ..
