"We did enjoy our stay. Thank you"

8.0

Loved the Dyson fans, they were greatly needed in this very hot weather. Liked the way it's been decorated. Everything worked. And it had everything we needed. Thumbs up

The garden area needs a bit of attention, dead plants in pots and overgrown tree, someone had broken a lot of eggs on outside steps, messy !! It was quite a trek to the beach, probably felt it more as it was extremely hot

"Beautiful cosy property and ideal to access town centre and harbour"

10.0

It was modern, clean and well presented. The host was lovely and communicated very well. It was neat to the town centre and only a short walk to the train station.

The property was lovely but the exterior was dark and difficult to see to open the keybox.

Disappointed that there was no information at the property regarding things like Wi-Fi code, what to do with recycling and how to use things. I had to contact the company that runs the rental to get the Wi-Fi code.

Lovely cottage, beautifully decorated, nice and quiet, well equipped.

Would have been nice to have had some wine glasses and a non slip bath mat

"The Little Cottage ticked our boxes for a 6-night stay, had everything we need, 10/10 - thank you!"

10.0

We used to live in Whitstable a few years ago, so it was lovely to return to the area and stay at The Little Cottage for the first time. The location was perfect - just a 10-minute walk into town and close to friends and family. Arrival was simple, with clear instructions and easy access to the key from a secure, password-protected box. The house was spotless, tidy, and clearly redesigned with care. The owners have created a cool, coastal vibe that captures the essence of Whitstable. Thoughtful touches like coastal artwork, cosy cushions, and a fully equipped kitchen made it feel like a true home-from-home. There were only two of us staying, but with two bedrooms, there was plenty of space for all our bits and bobs. The cottage feels safe, tucked away, and has everything you need. Plus, there’s a Co-op just at the end of the road—super handy! We arrived late on a Friday, so I ordered a Tesco Whoosh delivery, which arrived within 30 minutes. It meant we could go out for a few drinks without worrying about food shopping. There’s no dedicated parking, but that’s quite normal for Whitstable. We unloaded the car outside the house, then parked a few roads away in the quieter residential areas where it's free and felt safer. Once you're there, you really don’t need the car anyway - everything is within walking distance, which suited us perfectly. No pets allowed, which wasn't an issue for us. Beds were super comfy, we slept really well Communications was good, we had a number to call but we mostly text via the Booking.com App - keeps it all easy and stress free. Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely book The Little Cottage again.

The stairs are wooden with no carpet and have a rope handrail, which is a great touch for safety. If you're travelling with a toddler, it might be worth asking the owners if they can pop a stair gate at the top - an easy fix. My daughter is in secondary school, so this wasn’t an issue for us. The bath plug did get stuck during our stay, but maintenance came out promptly the next morning and sorted it - top job!
