I couldn't say, my stay didn't work

When I arrived, after several hours traveling from another city, nobody was expecting us and I had trouble even getting to communicate with someone in charge, with no clear directions about what room was ours and how to manage in the place. Air circulation in the room was poor considering how hot and humid the place is. Also, our room was supposed to have a sea view, but that wasn't the case at all. I got very frustrating responses from management and Booking customer service and I had to move to another hotel. Very bad experience.

Casa Azar was peaceful and comfortable. Located a 5-10 minute walk uphill from the main road, so it was quiet with lovely jungle views. The location is also very close to the Punta Cometa trail, which is perfect for sunset. The host provided great info in the welcome message so make sure to read it before you arrive!

Housekeeping doesn’t come in and clean your room unless you specifically request it. I wish we had asked staff to sweep the floors during our stay, as we ended up bringing in some sand from the beach accidentally.

Very beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The owners are very friendly.

It can be quite hot in the summer but the fans are powerful.
