Our experience was so over the top of what one would expect, that I wish I could have had a way to rate it higher. Before, during, and after our stay, the owner was incredible! Easy to reach, welcoming, checked in with us to see if we had everything we needed, down-to-earth, available but not intrusive, thoughtful . . . truly wants people to enjoy their time in their home! The house has a pass code, so no need for a key. We were greeted by delightful Christmas music playing softly and a large wooden basket full of snacks and fresh fruit! Many individual-size bags of various chips, snack crackers, pretzels, oranges, apples, and bananas filled the basket. Two waters and 4 sodas were in the refrigerator. There was a personalized thank you note thanking us for choosing their home and hoping we enjoyed the snacks and drinks. We were incredulous that the owners had so thoughtfully prepared for our arrival! Talk about feeling welcome! The house itself was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and nicely laid out. A front bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom. The large kitchen is well stocked. We cooked most meals. A long, comfortable, wrap-around leather couch is in the living room. A bedroom with bunk beds and a single bed, and another bedroom with a double or queen are close to a full bathroom off the hall. Both bathrooms had towels laid out with individual soap bars. Dining room has four chairs and a high table. Two chairs are set at an opening between the kitchen and dining room. An enclosed porch off the living room sliders has a small table with two chairs and overlooks a large pond with many birds to watch. They have games to play, extra blankets, plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances, extra towels and toilet paper, garbage bags, and basic spices. Pride of ownership can be seen throughout. A washer and dryer are located in the garage, but we didn't use them. This is a wonderful, welcoming home that had everything we needed, and more!

The place was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. The host was very responsive and went above and beyond to make us feel like home. Will totally book it again next time around.
