"In het hoogseizoen een fijn restaurant in september voor ons te rustig"

Luxe kamer

Weinig Engels spreken personeel. 9/10 gerechten van het Eten op de kaart was niet beschikbaar overigens wel heel lekker maar veelste pittig. Hotel was leeg en waren bijna alleen geen anderen toeristen gezien De manager die wel Engels sprak verzorgde ons wel uitstekend.

We like the beautiful surroundings with the paddy field in the background. The staff including Anjan and Dasun was extremely helpful and fulfilled all our needs.Our breakfast was excellent .Rooms were very spacious. We had a good time.

We really emphasize to the management to provide a swimming pool to this hotel. This will fulfill all our expectationsto have a dip in the water in a hot day admiring the peaceful environment. This will attract many foreign visitors like us.

"Clean and cheap hotel in Polonaruwa"

The rooms were clean and breakfast was decent. The hotel is kept well and the gardens surrounding are pretty. The location is close to old town polonaruwa - maybe a 5 min Tuktuk drive.

The hotel was quiet when we were there so not all facilities were in use like the bar. The balcony also hadn’t been cleaned and was full of dirt so we were unable to use this in our short stay.

Location has not much view as shown in the pictures. Staff was fair. Only the bathroom was good.

Floor Tiles were broken in front of the room that could have damage your feet. Kettle was not working. We were a couple but there was only one tea bag there. Tea table arrangement was not apparently clean. Only two soap pieces for the toiletries. Balcony has not cleaned for a long time period. Breakfast was not ready even at 8.30 am. Breakfast was just string hopers and rice with dhal,, chicken and coconut sambal. Staff was busy with a wedding function when we were checked in. Breakfast was presented in the same hall that had the wedding function yesterday night and it was bad foody smell all over. Package was 12k and I do not think that this BB package worth 12k with the experience I had. I wonder how this hotel got 4Star rating and 8.8 in Booking.com reviews.
