I can confidently say this is the perfect place to stay. From beginning to end, everything works perfectly. The room is extremely comfortable, the bed is great, the shower is excellent, and everything is very clean and cozy. You can book without any worries if you are visiting Kruger National Park, because the lodge can arrange all the tours and transfers you may need for extra prices, including airport transfers. I would especially like to highlight the exceptional service provided by Ivana, who works in the reservations department and does an amazing job organizing the guests’ itineraries and activities. Everything was perfectly arranged and made the experience completely stress-free. I would also like to mention Linda, who works in the kitchen and does a fantastic job as well. The meals are delicious and very well served. I would come back a thousand times. I felt truly welcomed and comfortable in this place, and they genuinely know how to treat people well. It was an exemplary stay, and I truly hope to come back someday.

10/10 – Perfekter Aufenthalt mitten in der Natur Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der South Safari Lodge und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Linda, Ivana und das gesamte Team haben alles dafür getan, dass wir uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag wohlgefühlt haben. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und wir haben uns vor Ort auch für das Abendessen entschieden – eine Entscheidung, die wir nicht bereut haben. Die Gerichte wurden von Linda frisch zubereitet und waren jeden Abend hervorragend. Unser Bungalow war genau so, wie wir ihn uns vorgestellt hatten: mitten in der Natur und umgeben von Tieren. Täglich konnten wir Affen, Warzenschweine und Impalas direkt an der Unterkunft beobachten. Für Tierliebhaber und alle, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen, ist dies der perfekte Ort. Sowohl in der Unterkunft als auch im Marloth Park haben wir uns jederzeit sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt. Praktisch ist außerdem, dass es im Marloth Park ein Restaurant, Supermärkte und eine Tankstelle gibt. Wer hierher reist, sollte bedenken, dass man mitten im Busch und in der Natur wohnt und nicht in einem sterilen Fünf-Sterne-Hotel. Daher gehören gelegentlich auch einmal eine Motte, ein paar Ameisen oder andere kleine Besucher dazu. Für uns hat genau das den besonderen Charme dieses authentischen Safari-Erlebnisses ausgemacht. Ein weiterer großer Vorteil ist die Lage zum Kruger-Nationalpark. Das Crocodile Bridge Gate ist mit dem Auto in etwa 20 Minuten erreichbar. Die Anfahrt ist sehr unkompliziert – man muss praktisch nur zweimal abbiegen und fährt ansonsten fast die gesamte Strecke geradeaus. Dadurch eignet sich die Lodge hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt für frühe Safaris im Kruger-Nationalpark. Vielen Dank an Linda, Ivana und das gesamte Team für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft. Tudo! Tudo foi perfeito, a equipe fantástica, o atendimento esplêndido da Linda e da Ivana, a gastronomia excepcional com a melhor batata que já comemos, a nossa experiência foi fantástica, único arrependimento foi ter ficado so dois dias, com certeza iremos voltar!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at South Safari Lodge! The staff were exceptional and made our experience truly special. Ivana did an outstanding job looking after us—nothing was ever too much trouble, and her warmth and attention to detail really stood out. The wildlife sightings were unforgettable. We saw wildebeest coming right up near the fire, as well as bush pigs, monkeys, impala, guinea fowl, and even giraffes—an incredible experience! We would also highly recommend the spa package, where they come to your lodge to give you a relaxing destress massage, and the safari at Kruger National Park with Reinhart was amazing. The team went above and beyond by decorating the dining area for my brother’s birthday and completely spoiling us. It was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. Linda’s cooking was amazing—every meal was delicious—and Sibu did a fantastic job maintaining the property, keeping everything in perfect condition. Overall, an unforgettable stay. We would highly recommend South Safari Lodge to anyone looking for a truly special safari experience!

Would recommend having a 4x4, as the road approaching the property is a dirt track and can be a bit tricky.

Voir des animaux partout autour du lodge a été une expérience incroyable : on a pris le petit déjeuner avec des zèbres et des girafes juste à côté, le dîner et le feu de camp entourés de gnous, et même au bord de la piscine on voyait des élans passer tranquillement. Les photos et descriptions ne mentent pas, l’immersion est totale. L’endroit est magnifique, très bien entretenu et vraiment dépaysant. Le service était parfait du début à la fin, tout le personnel est génial, attentionné et toujours souriant. Le dîner et le petit déjeuner étaient exceptionnels, dignes d’un très bon restaurant. Franchement une expérience mémorable.

Nur 3 Bungalows Außergewöhnlich ruhig, auch Nachts. Küchenpersonal Essen soweit OK Tiere kommen bis in die Lodge, sind jedoch angefüttert.

Anfahrt , Google map stimmt nicht. Wege im Marloth Park sind sehr abenteuerlich, zum Teil mit normalem PKW nicht befahrbar. Nicht auszudenken bei Regen. Die allgemeine Sauberkeit. Badezimmer Toilette verliert Wasser, es sind braune Wasserflecken auf den Fliesen,d.h.Problem besteht seit längerem. Pool nicht nutzbar, schmutzig, Pumpe ohne Funktion.Wurde erst am Abreisetag gereinigt. Internet Ausschlag vom Router bis zum Anschlag, jedoch kamen keine Daten an.Absolut nicht nutzbar. Beim Abendessen keine Getränkekarte verfügbar.Niema d wusste was es gibt und was es kostet. Managerin Ivana fast nie anwesend und bei Fragen kurz angebunden. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt enttäuschend und kann nicht weiter empfohlen werden.
