Fab staff, great location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great food.

Beautiful rooms refurbished with taste. Excellent food.

Staff were lovely and friendly. Room was huge and air conditioned. Beds were comfortable. Food at the pub was nice with a varied menu. Breakfast was large portions. Lots of parking. Nice places to sit inside and outside. Not far away from the Harry Potter experience near Watford but felt very rural there. They have other rooms set away from the pub which were probably much quieter.

There was an event on in the room below our bedroom (room 9) and in the garden beside our window. Not informed of this until I checked in and it was too late to make other arrangements. Band went on until 10.30 then other music until 12. So we didn't get the best night's sleep. I did mention it in the morning and the girl on reception apologised but it did spoil our experience.

Very comfortable room with excellent facilities. Friendly staff and nice relaxed atmosphere. Very clean and tidy. Plenty of room to park in the carpark which was handy.

A beautifully decorated pub, full of art and nick-nacks. The room was excellent and comfortable.

Food and drinks definitely at the more pricey end.
