Location was amazing - OMG the views!

Hard to get to from train station - not far but hard with suitcases.

Location and views and what make this place special for a stay in Varenna

There were some supplies that I thought should be included and s salable but weren’t there. I contacted the owner and they delivered most of what I asked for reasonably quickly. However a couple of items like bath soap and shampoo weren’t delivered and the supply of hand soap was low. Those items should be standard. And extra amounts of toilet paper should be on hand!

Location was perfect, just steps away from the ferry and closer to the train station. The view was amazing In the summer, air conditioning was a godsend And kept the apartment very comfortable Came equipped with washing machine, which was very helpful

The bed was not very comfortable and only one pillow per person was provided The stove did not function

That was really the best location we could possibly have stayed. The views of the apartment are even prettier than the pictures, it was like a dream. The location is perfect and you can access every other villa very easily, plus varenna itself is stunning. If you're questioning if you should pick this place or not: do it, stay here. This place has truly made our trip absolutely memorable. Also, the hosts are sooooo nice and treated us super well.

Overall I can say we had an amazing experience, I'd stay there again for sure. The only comment I would have is that the double bed is actually two single beds put together that start drifting apart from each other throughout the night. Me and my partner couldn't really cuddle because we would start falling into the pit forming between the two beds, so I would maybe suggest a better way of keeping the two single beds together. I guess you can solve this pretty easily, maybe a velcro securing the feet of the bed together would do it? But that was such a minor inconvenience, it didn't affect our experience at all. We loved our stay and would recommend it to everyone!

Everything perfect

The location is excellent for seeing Larenna and catching boats to other destinations on Lake Como. It is very near the port for the ferries and we enjoyed the hustle and bustle this provided. It is also very near the station so good if you are not driving. It has really good views. The meet and greet was excellent.

The apartment was a little impersonal, and the electrics were very dated - although adaptor plugs were supplied. It meant that the speed of charging phones was very slow and the wifi only seems to allow one user at a time. The kitchen was not up to any detailed cooking - but fine if you are eating out mostly.
