Casa Angelica Cetara Albergo Diffuso

We loved the location. It is situated right on the beach and within walking distance from restaurants, bars, and swimming. The view is beautiful. The bed was comfortable.

The apartment is old. The wallpaper is dated and is coming off the walls. We hated the bathroom. It is actually just a small cupboard. It is very difficult to shower, and the space is very limited. Although the view is beautiful, the location makes this apartment very noisy. The apartment needs an urgent revamp. The apartment was not super clean.

This apartment is a hidden gem! I can not recommend it enough. The host was really nice and caring, always answered all questions I had about the place, nearby shops, services etc. The apartment has a wonderful sea view, you can just sit there, have your glass of wine and enjoy the evening just watching mostly locals having fun in the restaurants, listening to local musicians that have little concert here and there right under your window. In the apartment you will find everything, there are lots of small details that will make you feel like home. Everything was clean and we had one cleaning service during our 5 nights long stay for exchanging towels, bed sheets etc. Cetara is absolutely wonderful little village that is not over crowded with tourists like other villages on Amalfi Coast, there are only few little shops but they have everything you need. There are couple good restaurants to choose from too, on the main street (they are usually full so you need to wait a bit to get a seat sometimes). There are three beaches nearby, one is a bit tricky to get to and we have not enjoyed it much (the one behind the tower, there was just too much trash). Second one is right in front of the apartment (mostly private). Third one is the best and it is behind the docks.

We personally did not mind it, but sometimes it can get very loud outside till 2-3 am. Kids are shouting right under the windows, playing football till late hours and there are several bars that play loud music. So if you mind this, you might want to go somewhere farer away from the beach.

Location was excellent, just what we wanted. Luigi was excellent and met us with the keys, showed us the apt and gave advice on restaurants and areas of interest. The village was just lovely and we felt part of the community over the time we were there. It was far more relaxing in Cetara than the other areas on the Amalfi Coast. We loved returning back to the apt after a day out exploring.

Can be a tad noisy in the early morning and late evening. Nothing other than being part of the area.

the location was perfect! it's a beautiful bright apartment right by the beach. Cetara is an easy-going place, not as overcrowded by tourists as most other places along the Amalfi coast. the owner was very helpful and communication was fast and efficient. we'd definitely stay there again.

the kitchen could have been a little more equipped but it was sufficient to cook. there was some loud music until about midnight from the bar downstairs on Saturday, but that's to be expected considering the location. apart from that it was very quiet at night (during off-season).
