Killa Bhawan Lodge

Always a pleasure to stay in this one of my favourite places in Jaisalmer, the owners are both very kind and helpful.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet und das Bett bequem. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Angestellten waren alle nett und immer sehr hilfsbereit. Auch die Walking Tour, die ich hier gebucht habe mit Koushal war super. Die Lage ist auch super. Auch abends habe ich mich alleine in der Umgebung sicher gefühlt. Alles sehr zu empfehlen. Danke an alle für den schönen Aufenthalt.

We had a wonderful stay at Killa Bhawan Lodge and to be honest, wish we’d had the time to stay longer. The hotel is very centrally located, pretty much everything is in walking distance. The room was very comfortable and really beautifully decorated and had air con, complimentary water and toiletries and even robes, plus an incredible view over the Haveli. The rooftop is beautiful and comfortable, with shades and fans to cool down and a great view of the Haveli and square below - great for people watching. Breakfast is plentiful and the South Indian espresso was very nice! We also ate two meals at the restaurant and both times the thali was delicious and varied. The biggest highlight though was the staff. Vicky-ji is such a gentle, kind and humble man who was always helpful and chatty. He helped us arrange transport and also a laundry service. We’d been scammed at our previous hotel on our Rajasthan trip and were feeling a little defeated but Jaisalmer and mostly Vicky-ji, his wonderful team and beautiful hotel gave us the much needed boost we needed. Would 10000% recommend to anyone and hope to visit again one day! Thank you Vicky-ji and team

The square can be a bit noisy in the daytime but at night it was not a problem for us to sleep.

Really beautiful room a fantastic location overlooking the Haveli

We did have issues with obtaining hot water although two buckets of hot water were delivered daily as there was no water pressure. This was dealt with, but that wasn’t until the very end of our stay after 10 days. It was a minor inconvenience that did not affect our stay too seriously.

Everything! Vicky and his staff are very attentive and helpful. The stay was perfect, the location is the best, the restaurant amazing. Thank you so much and hope to come back in a near future!
