Lovely boutique hotel. Very accommodating with my fussy diet

Everything! Especially the beautiful gardens and pool, but the rooms were spotlessly clean and very stylish, spacious, light and comfortable. Marinella is delightful!

Beautiful renovated villa so close to the beach. Resort is in excellent condition as basically brand new! We had a lovely spacious room after being upgraded due to not being able to have our private chef on our last night. We cooked a beautiful meal in the outdoor kitchen - lovely powerful grill and outdoor hob as well as fresh organically grown vegetables from the hotel garden. This was our best experience on our holiday (we love cooking)! Mirella is extremely attentive and we had lovely welcome on arrival. Even the other guests were really friendly and open too. Swimming pool was lush.

wifi did not work in the rooms, kept on losing connection.

We visited Poggio Resort as part of our honeymoon vacation. We couldn’t have asked for any more! The resort is stunning. Mirella and her staff were so helpful and were on call to assist with any matter. Our room was beautiful, with stunning sea views and really well furnished and decorated. Breakfast was top notch and although no hot food is provided, with the stunning selection of pastries, cheeses, meats, cereals and local delicacies, it really did not matter. It’s a very relaxing place, where you are offered full use of their outdoor dining and cooking facilities, to make lunch or dinner whenever you please. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach and pretty town of Donnalucata, which is ideal, and located far enough so that you have total peace and quite from the town. It’s virtually a brand new resort and it was an absolute pleasure to spend our vacation there. The team should be really proud.
