CBD Studio Getaway

The location was amazing, as well as having access to the building facilities (2pools, 2spas, sauna, gym, tennis court), and to have the option for a car park was awesome. We had a view out the windows of the sky tower and enjoyed how large the apartment was.

A couple of minor things were that we couldn't get the oven to work or the spare key card.

Apartment was great.

Spa pool was cold as was the sauna which were 2 features we chose on.

Great central location. Access to a nice rooftop swimming pool and spa pool area. The host was helpful and quick to respond through Booking's messenger.

The complex is getting a bit tired. Part of it operates as a hotel, though many rooms/ apartments are permanently occupied or rented as short-stay accommodation. The room/ apartment we were in was well equipped, although tired. The room was clean, though the things that don't get cleaned during a standard clean could do with attention, for example, mould growing in the shower floor grouting, and lime scale build-up on the shower glass edges.

Having to collect keys from a lockbox in another location [with no parking]was a bit daunting?

Personal welcome when you arrive in your room, chocolates and tiki were awesome. Communication excellent. Pool/spa were great facilities on level 2. Didn't use roof top not too sure about how to do this. Easy to get around especially using the lime scooters. Washing machine and dryer were great made packing simpler with just a carry on. One thing that we would have loved was being able to drop our bags until check in, it did somewhat limit us as we had such an early morning flight into Auckland and knowing this is located within the Heritage just takes the unknown out of the equation and makes finding it easier. Night can be a bit noisy over the weekend from the outside local bars but nothing unreasonable. Airport shuttle was easy to use $20 per person each way.

We had a great stay - it's a cosy and clean studio, centrally located. We loved the pool area!
