Apartment Hotel MODISH Gion

Muy céntrico, en pleno barrio de Gion y a pocos minutos andando de metro y bus.

En la habitación hacía un poco de frío, ya que solo hay un aparato de aire acondicionado para todo el apartamento y está en el salón.

Self checkin is the intuitive, all the amenities are in great condition and a manual was kept in english as well. Bus stop and subway station is nearby and Family mart just opposite is the bonus point.

Sometimes it is difficult to start the hot water in taps. Bathroom was too small.

ロケーション抜群。早朝の祇園、先斗町等々を散歩できた。３日間の滞在、毎朝、清水寺まで散歩した。３０分で到着します。

キッチン周りの衛生面。数日滞在したので、その間掃除はないので、生ごみの臭いが少し気になってきた。

Hard bed, but not much different than most of Japan.

The location is excellent, with public transportation nearby and within walking distance of the lively yellow areas of the city. I also really appreciated being able to leave my luggage before check-in and after check-out, which made my stay much more convenient.

The main issue we experienced was with the password-locked doors, which did not feel very reliable. At one point, my parents’ room could not be opened even with the correct password, which caused a lot of stress—especially for my father, who was worried about their belongings and was unable to enjoy the evening with us. We contacted the property for help, but the instructions for accessing the physical key were unclear and confusing. We spent over an hour trying to resolve the situation. Despite asking for someone to come onsite, we continued to receive unclear guidance until my father eventually figured out how to open the mailbox and retrieve the key himself. Someone was finally sent to fix the door, but we still did not fully trust the lock and requested to keep the physical key for the rest of the stay.
