The apartment itself was nice and cozy, but unfortunately, our experience with the landlord was quite disappointing. When we arrived in the evening, the apartment was still extremely messy from the previous guests and completely unprepared for our stay. Although the landlord promptly called a cleaning service after we informed him, he didn’t allow us to stay in the apartment during the cleaning—even after we explained how exhausted we were from a full day of travel. As a result, we had to leave again for two hours and spend extra money at a bar while we waited. Given this unpleasant start, we expected a discount to acknowledge the inconvenience. Instead, the landlord acted as if nothing had happened. He asked us to pay the full city tax (a total of EUR 50), take out all the garbage upon check-out, and made no effort to make up for the initial issue. We then suggested that he at least covers the city tax as compensation for the first evening, but he refused. This lack of accountability left us with a bitter impression of the stay, despite the apartment itself being quite comfortable.
