Location

I don't like when I can't see anything throught window becouse of frosted glass. I don't like when there is no spoon, fork, knife, at least one large plate. On my way to the airport at night, I found myself stuck between the front door and the terrace gate because I had to leave the door key cards at the reception. The staff forgot to tell me that I could leave them in the safe behind the gate. I had to climb over the fence with my suitcase in the middle of the night.

The owner and the staff were very friendly. We have lost our key cards and they helped us quickly. The place was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Very good internet connection.

No toilet in the lobby

The location was good, but the receptionist failed to demonstrate this in the way she explained it. She also didn't know how to recommend places for breakfast other than suggesting the historic center of Split. In fact, right across the street there is a bar that serves things that we can have for a breakfast with minimum conditions. The room was good for me as I was there for a business trip because (the light was good and so as the wifi). And the receptionist sings well :)

For those who arrive new it is difficult to understand how it is well located. Across the street there is a sign indicating the way to the historic center and it is very close, but this was not explained. In fact, for me it is not a hotel but some shops converted into accommodations where each room has a window facing the street that used to be a display window. Sometimes people knock on these windows, especially new guests who arrive early then 8h00 and do not know how to get in. This is annoying. The all building needs to be restored so don't be scared when arriving :)

Helpful with early checkin; location was centrally located at a walking distance from old town. Walking with luggage due to terrain can be tricky although bolt/uber were well connected. Place was clean and hygienic

Great location - close to old town, bus station, beach. Very responsive and helpful staff. Fridge and kettle in the room, clean facility

You can’t open the window to get fresh air, some equipment in bathroom wasn’t working well and required fixing

Spacious

It didn’t feel like a 4* the towels had stains on. It was a bit old fashioned and there were building works going on outside the room. Very uneven ground and it was never mentioned on the website.
