Lovely hotel, location spectacular (although isolated but that is what we wanted), friendly staff and great breakfast. The deco is cosy & stylish, the restaurant offers great food, everything has been thought through carefully.

Style over practicalities in places. The bed. I never complained about beds normally but this one was bad. Lighting in the bathroom felt like being back 1920s when electricity first arrived… i couldn’t see a thing. I would have told the staff when we checked out but the question’how was your stay?’ was never asked…

Liked that it was off grid. Lovely, quirky room, comfortable bed. Stylish property internally. Spotlessly clean. Delicious breakfast. Dinner offer was nice. Attentive, pleasant owners and staff.

The addition of a comfortable sofa or two in the drawing room would be nice. Seats lovely but not a cosy / couple setting.

Lovely room. Fabulous breakfast. Owner gave us really great advice about what to go and see while we were there. Nothing was too much trouble. First class!
