Raja Ampat Family Guest House

I wasn’t just a guest in a guesthouse, I really was a guest to the family - and a great family at that. Exceptional accommodation as well: clean, working AC, good food, great service. Thank you Pedro and family.

Such a nice place and host! Pedro is a very friendly and helpful guy. He even invited me to a local church ceremony followed by dinner and helped me a lot in finding and setting up a SIM card (despite the rain). He also has motorbikes to rent, in perfect condition. I can strongly recommend!

Nous avons passé 4 nuits, nous avons adoré ! La Propreté, la Climatisation, les Repas copieux et excellents et Pedro, notre hôte. Il nous a organisé et accompagné dans les sorties avec son ami chauffeur Omar (Kali Biru, Sapokren, tour de ville et marché traditionnel, Musée Geopark Raja Ampat, Park Afremegata Red bird of Paradise) tel un guide car il parle anglais. Tous deux toujours attentionnés et bienveillants. Pour prendre le ferry à notre départ, Omar s'est occupé d'acheter les billets et nous a conduit jusqu'à l'intérieur du bateau. Nous vous recommandons vivement ce lieu avec un rapport qualité prix exceptionnel ! Delphine et Cathy

100% recommend Absolutely excellent stay if needed before or after yor trip to Raja Ampat. Great value. Family are really nice. They cook very nice food and plenty of it. Do choose half board. Room very comfortable with good aircon and bathroom, a treat after Raja Ampat. Beautiful views. We hired scooter couple days 150 p/d. Can arrange pick up / drop off ferry. BONUS they had cold beers in fridge.. AMAZING.

Pedro and his family were very lovely and helpful! The room was comfortable, A/C worked great, no "hot" showers but with the outside temperature the "cold" water was so warm anyway that you don't need "hot" water. We didn't realize when booking that the family not only provides breakfast (which was delicious and filling) but also dinner! They catered for vegetarians and made us a vegetarian dinner which was lovely. The views from the deck outside the room are great, perfect place for an evening beer or a game of cards, or just relaxing and reading a book. They have a little fridge where you can store some drinks or snacks, or you can buy beers from them if you'd prefer! The location is a bit out of the way from the main area of town, but they rent scooters if you want to get around, or it's easy to organize an ojek (moto taxi) to get where ever you need to be. There's also a convenience store a short 10-15 minute walk down the hill.
