The Mood Hotel

Расположен в 10 минутах езды на долмушах (маршрутках) от центрального автовокзала Бодрума. Едут каждые 10 минут. Выходить на остановке "Barlar sokağı" (улица баров), рядом с рестораном KonyalıM. Рядом есть супермаркет 101. За 7-8 минут пешком можно дойти до большого обустроенного пляжа. Недорогая цена для Бодрума и для этой цены вполне хорошая инфраструктура с бассейном. Очень хорошая панорама отеля. В течение дня бесплатный чай. Можно выбрать опцию с простым завтраком, обедом и ужином. Если чаще и чище убирать, то по этой цене достаточно хороший отель.

Название отеля не Mega Bodrum Gumbet, а Mega hotel. Никто кроме местных таксистов не знают где он находится. Спрашивайте Mega hotel, а то сложно найти. Хотя территория отеля чистая, номера убирают поверхностно и то, по установленным правилам, через 3 сутки. У меня прошло 5 дней и пришли на уборку только после моей жалобы. И убирают буквально 5 минут, также поверхностно. Холодильник фактически не работал 3 дня, утверждали что работает, но слабо. Оказалось, что температура снижена была до минимума. После того, как поднял температуру - начал более-менее работать. Учитывая, что рядом самая известная барная улица Бодрума с дискотеками, то ежедневно до 3-4 утра шум - надо закрывать окна.

The staff was friendly, it had an air conditioner and hot water, it had a working TV, and the location was not too far from the beach.

The air conditioner was directed to the beds, it didn't have a sleep function and it was powerful, it was hard to sleep. If you close the air conditioner the room becomes very hot quickly, the shower draining was blocked and the cabin filled quickly with water, the bathroom was not very clean, you could see dirt around the toilet.

The location was very nice close to the bar street, taxi station, and dolmuş are passing very often. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The swimming pool was very pleasant. I stayed 2 nights. The room are big. I would recommend for the price! There is a very good view from swimming pool and out of the room.

My room was dark, but my friend room was with a window (but in any case I did not came to Bodrum to stay in my room).

Not sure why this hotel gets some poor reviews as I found it to be excellent value for money. Maybe others forget the price point? Staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Food was excellent for price you pay with unlimited tea, coffee, cold drink dispenser. 2 hot choices for breakfast such as egg or fries with the traditional Turkish. Evening meal also excellent with multiple hot choices of traditional Turkish food. Bar serving local beers etc all day also included. Pool area great with decent views. All quiet at around 11pm Just the right distance from all the action in town, about 10min walk so area peaceful.

Rooms are dated but certainly everything you need and found them to be comfy. Not sure about carpet in bedroom tho? I only stopped for 2 nights so can't comment on room cleaning but clean on arrival.

The location was very easy for access to bar street and the shopping areas, as well as the beach. A taxi rank was at the bottom of the road. Once in your room there was not much noise to be heard from bar street and the hotel itself was quiet enough. You have to expect some noise if sat out at night! There was a fridge in the room which was handy for cold drinks. The pool was small but ok.

Unfortunately the rooms are a bit dated and could do with being redecorated. The room was on the small side with a double and single bed in. However we weren’t there to sit in the room so it was manageable. The dining area was small but ok. Not enough plug sockets. A fair few stairs so could be difficult if mobility limited.
