Food was very good, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly

The rooms heating would go off at times and the room could get cold

Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable, if small, bedroom with all necessary amenities. Food in the evening and breakfast were excellent with a varied menu compared to many hotels. Plenty of parking adjacent to the entrance door.

Bathroom has no heating and a very draughty window (Room 9) and there was some noise from the bar area beneath the room at 3.15am which woke us up - night porter tidying up was the explanation. I suspect this is not a regular occurrence. These comments are only recorded for completeness and in no significant way do they affect our overall rating for this excellent hotel.

Cooked not as good as time before but all happy. But Fresh fruit uncooked selection excellent coffee good too

Just shame in back room to dine but was easier with dogs probably so was ok gor us. I just wanted to show off fire side bar.
