Moat Barn

Beautiful space, ideal for eight friends to celebrate in. Well resourced kitchen, games room and hot tub are bonuses.

We needed more toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets!

Loved location and the garden we spent most of our time at the house in the garden. Plenty of kitchen equipment too.

The noise of the water pump but that cannot really be helped.

The property was fun and comfortable.

It was all good.

Moat Barn is very spacious and furnished to a high standard. Beds are very comfortable and the Kitchen is beautiful with plenty of utensils/crockery. The Games room is an added bonus and the garden is great for the kids. Look forward to visiting again :)

A small comment the Aga cooker took a long time to heat up and as we arrived at Moat Barn in the evening we were unable to get the Aga hot enough to cook until late. None of us had used an Aga before so we did not know how long it would take to heat up. There were no chemicals or test strips available for the hot tub and there was no one there available to sort this for us.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Moat Barn. All rooms were very comfortable and it has a well equipped kitchen. The garden is perfect for young children, as well as a dog, and the hot tub is so relaxing! The barn is fairly remote and was very peaceful when we were there at a weekend, so we took a Sunday stroll in the local countryside, which was lovely. Sutton Hoo and Woodbridge are very close and also worth a visit.

Only a few small suggestions: I forgot to pack ping pong balls and couldn't find any at the barn, which was frustrating as there was nowhere local to buy any, so we were unable to make use of the ping pong bats and table. A handbook with an area guide would have been handy, as well as an easy to find folder with how to use all the gadgets (eventually found some in a drawer but it took a while to track them down!). Had to use my husband's newspaper to light the fire, so some firelighters would have been useful.
